- I.
Membership Validity Period (Physical cards are not available for Taiwan Traditional Theatre Center memberships)
(1)Members joining on-site at the TTTC can immediately enjoy ticket discounts. For those paying via remittance, ticket discounts will be available after a 5-business-day review process.
(2)Membership validity lasts one year from the activation date (e.g., if activated on October 3, 2025, the validity period ends on October 2, 2026). If paid members (TTTC Fans / TTTC Enthusiasts) do not renew within the validity period, they will lose all paid membership privileges after the membership expires.
II.Membership Renewal
(1)Point Renewal: During the membership period, if the number of accumulated points reaches 1,500 for TTTC Fans or 4,000 for TTTC Enthusiasts, the system will automatically deduct the number of points needed for renewal. (E.g., if the membership expires on October 2, 2026, and the required number of points needed for renewal is reached, the system will deduct that number of points at 00:00 on October 3, 2026, automatically extending membership by another year.)
(2)Cash Renewal: Members enjoy a 10% discount on the annual membership fee (discounts of NT$200 for TTTC Fans, NT$1,200 for TTTC Enthusiasts).
(3)Membership renewal can only be applied for once per year, with each renewal extending membership by a maximum of one year.
III.Termination of Membership
Once a membership has been activated, the membership fee is non-refundable in cases of violations of membership terms resulting in termination of the membership by the Center, and in cases where the member voluntarily cancels their membership.IV.Point Accumulation Rules
(1)Points can be earned by purchasing tickets for programs organized by the Taiwan Traditional Theatre Center. Each NT$1 spent equals 1 point. Members must select the TTTC Fan or TTTC Enthusiast discount ticket category during the purchase process to earn points. Points cannot be earned if the membership discount category is not selected.
(2)Points have no expiration date.
(3)Points will be credited to the member’s account within 10 business days after the program date.
V.Point Redemption
(1)During the membership validity period, TTTC Fans who have accrued 1,500 points and TTTC Enthusiasts who have accrued 4,000 points will automatically have that amount of points deducted at 00:00 the day after their membership is set to expire for their membership renewal.
(2)Points can be used to invited others to become members, but cannot be converted to cash or transferred to others.
(3)If the membership expires without renewal, point accumulation will no longer be possible. However, any remaining points can still be used for gift redemption.
(4)Gifts for redemption are subject to announcements on the TTTC official website. Once the redemption application is submitted, gift items and quantities cannot be changed. The Center reserves the right to modify or discontinue gift items and set redemption deadlines.
(5)How to redeem gifts: Log in to the member center to redeem points for gifts. After receiving a redemption notification email, visit the “Ticket Office and Information Service” located on the first floor of the Taiwan Music Institute to collect the gift in person.
(6)Gift Collection Period: Gifts must be collected within three months of the date of the notification email. Points and redeemed items will be forfeited if not collected within this period.
(7)Redeemed gifts cannot be returned or exchanged.
- I.
General Terms and Conditions:
i.The National Center for Traditional Arts ("NCFTA") provides services for members based on the VIP Membership (Fee-based Members) Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). A member, upon completion of registration or who utilizes the services listed in the Terms, is considered as having read, understood, and completely accepted the Terms, including the ones that are already in effect or may come into effect in the future. NCFTA reserves the right to modify or alter any part of the Terms at any time. Notification of such modifications or alterations shall be posted on the NCFTA website as and when they occur. Members are advised to check the website regularly for any updates to the Terms. Members may terminate the use of services at any time if they do not agree to the modification or alteration or any other part of the Terms by providing notification to NCFTA through electronic or physical means.
ii.Applicants less than 20 years of age registering for a membership or registering to use the services or to continue to use the services shall be accepted only after the parent (or custodian) has read, understood, and agreed to all parts of the Terms and modifications or alterations on the applicants’ behalf.
iii.Governing Law and Jurisdiction: You and the NCFTA agree that the Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Taiwan, and the Taipei District Court shall be the court of competent jurisdiction for the first instance.
II.With regards to confidentiality of the collection of your personal information and the protection of your privacy and rights, and in respect to the Article 8 of Taiwan's Personal Information Protection Act, NCFTA shall clearly inform you of the following issues:
i.Purpose of Collection: The use of collected personal information is restricted to marketing; client management; online ticketing; and to survey, statistics, and analysis on electronic commerce (See Business Specific Purpose and Code 040, 090, 148, 157). NCFTA shall collect personal information through membership registration and transactions.
ii.Scope of Collection: NCFTA shall collect the following personal information:
- C001: Personal identification, such as the member's name, physical address, phone number, and e-mail address.
- C003: Government-issued identification, such as national identification number and tax ID number.
- C011: Personal description, such as gender and date of birth.
Duration, Locale, Target and Usage:
- Duration: NCFTA shall collect the aforementioned personal information until six months after the member party requests a termination of the use of the services or the NCFTA terminates those services.
- Locale: The collected personal information shall be used in Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu only.
- Target and Usage: The member's personal information shall be used by NCFTA only for management support and query processing purposes as well as membership identification, marketing, cash-flow planning, and logistics services, including but not limited to distribution of advertising campaigns and program information. NCFTA may provide relevant personal information to its service partners to achieve the purposes stated herein.
Examples are as follows:
A.The member agrees that NCFTA may provide relevant personal information to the ticketing system of National Theatre and Concert Hall ("NTCH") for the purpose of sending birthday coupons.
B.The member agrees that NTCH may provide the member's ticket-purchase history and other transaction records to NCFTA and websites operated by subsidiaries of the Ministry of Culture for the purpose of running rewards programs and marketing-related services through gathering, processing, and usageof such information.
The Data Subject's Rights Concerning the Use of their Personal Information: The data subject may exercise the following rights with NCFTA according to Taiwan's Personal Information Protection Act:
- Accessing or reading the information.
- Requesting Copies of the information.
- Requesting complement or correction of information.
- Requesting termination of collecting, processing or using the information.
- Requesting deletion of the information. Any member who wants to exercise the above rights should submit a request to NCFTA.
※ Attention! Refusal to provide the required information upon registration may result in inability to access the services for which the data is required.
III.The applicant shall complete registration and agree to the following terms before using the complete services provided by NCFTA:
i.To provide correct and updated information as stated in the registration list and not to register in the name of a third party. Only one account number is assigned to each applicant. The creation of multiple accounts is not allowed.
ii.The member is advised to keep his/her personal information up-to-date in order to receive the best services.
iii.The member agrees that NCFTA has the right to suspend or terminate his/her account number and refuse the member use of part or all of the services if he/she is discovered to have multiple accounts or provided incomplete, inaccurate, or incorrect information during his/her registration.
IV.NCFTA shall be responsible for the operation of the website and services through technologies and procedures at reasonable costs. In the following situations, NCFTA has the right to suspend or terminate the services:
i.During the period when NCFTA performs necessary maintenance or engineering on the electronic and communication systems.
ii.Unexpected malfunction of the electronic and communication systems.
iii.NCFTA's electronic and communication service provider terminating the services.
iv.If a force majeure event occurs or for reasons not attributable to NCFTA which prevents NCFTA from complying with any of its obligations of providing services stated in the Terms, including but not limited to natural disasters.
V.Alteration of Services and the Distribution of EDM and Printed Literature:
i.The member agrees that NCFTA may add, reduce, change or terminate part of the services stated in this agreement without prior notification.
ii.The member agrees that NCFTA may add, alter or terminate related activities according to actual implementation. NCFTA shall notify members in the most suitable way possible to these activities.
iii.he member agrees to receive EDMs sent to their electronic or physical address on an occasional basis. If a member expresses an unwillingness to participate insuch marketing campaigns, NCFTA shall cease sending him/her such information. The member who terminates subscription of an E Newsletter shall still receive Notice about Membership Rights and Benefits to ensure their rights and benefits.
VI.Miscellaneous:
i.The application form and collected documents shall not be returned, and we shall retain the right of final decision over an application.
ii.We retain the right to alter or terminate membership-related campaigns and the right to issue or terminate any membership.
iii.We shall update or alter membership-related campaigns on occasion, which will be posted on the NCFTA website.
